It's not predictable with any movement that I do, but it's a definitely pain sensation where the sensor is from time to time (say once or twice an hour). You can also pull it away from the muscle a bit and see if it helps. Painful insertions, especially lingering pain, are not normal. You should remove the sensor and re-apply a new sensor in a slightly different area. Call Dexcom and tell them you had to remove the sensor due to painful insertion. They will send you another sensor free of charge.
